Scope of This Addendum
This addendum applies when you:
- ✓List a property for sale or rent on BuyOrSell24
- ✓Register as a real estate broker or agency
- ✓Submit verification documents for property listings
Data Categories We Collect

Why We Collect This Data
We collect real estate verification data to comply with UAE regulations and protect buyers:
RERA Compliance
Dubai Land Department requires all property advertisers to hold valid RERA broker licenses and Trakheesi advertising permits.
Trakheesi Advertising Law
All property advertisements in Dubai must have a valid Trakheesi permit number displayed, per DLD regulations.
Fraud Prevention
Verification prevents unauthorized individuals from advertising properties they don't own or represent.
AML/KYC Obligations
Real estate transactions are monitored for anti-money laundering compliance under UAE federal law.
How We Process Your Documents
1. Secure Upload
Documents are uploaded via encrypted connection (TLS 1.3) and stored on our EU-based servers with AES-256 encryption at rest.
2. Manual Verification
Our trained compliance team reviews documents within 24-48 hours. We may cross-reference with RERA public databases for brokers.
3. Secure Storage
Original documents are stored encrypted. Only verification status (verified/pending/rejected) is visible to other users.
Who We Share This Data With
We may share your real estate verification data with:
- •Dubai Land Department (DLD) / RERA: When required for regulatory compliance or dispute resolution.
- •Regulatory Auditors: During compliance audits as required by UAE law.
- •Law Enforcement: When legally required (court orders, fraud investigations).
We NEVER sell your verification documents to third parties or use them for marketing purposes.
Data Retention Periods
Active Listings
Verification documents are retained while your listings are active and you maintain a verified status.
After Listing Deletion
Documents are permanently deleted within 90 days of account deletion, except where legal retention is required.
Legal Retention
Transaction-related records are retained for 7 years per UAE financial regulations. Verification records may be retained for 5 years per RERA requirements.

In addition to your general privacy rights, you have the following specific rights for real estate verification data:
